Terms & Conditions

Services Provided

We provide construction and renovation services as detailed in the written quote or proposal. Any additional work requested after the agreement will be subject to a new quote or written approval.

 

2. Estimates & Quotes

  • All estimates provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes include only the work and materials listed. Any changes or additions may result in revised costs and timelines.

 

3. Deposit Requirements

​

A deposit is required before any work begins, as follows:

  • Deposit Amount: 25% of the total quoted cost

  • Due Date: Payable upon acceptance of the quote and before scheduling the start date

  • Payment Methods: bank transfer, cash, zelle, cash app, paypal, check, etc

 

Work will not commence until the deposit has been received in full.

Deposits are used to secure materials, labor, and scheduling.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Remaining balance is due in installments or upon completion, as agreed in the project schedule.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per week overdue.

  • Invoices must be paid within 7 days of receipt, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

5. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If the Client cancels the project after the deposit has been paid, the deposit may be non-refundable, depending on costs already incurred (e.g., materials ordered, time spent).

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing text message or email.

  • If the Contractor cancels the job, the deposit will be refunded unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

6. Project Timeline

  • We will make every effort to complete the work within the agreed timeline. However, delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any delays as soon as possible.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure access to the job site during agreed hours

  • Remove personal items or obstructions prior to the start of work

  • Obtain necessary permissions (e.g., HOA, landlord, or municipal approvals), unless otherwise agreed

8. Insurance & Liability

We hold appropriate liability insurance. However, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing structural issues

  • Delays caused by third parties or materials shortages

  • Damage caused by misuse or failure to follow care instructions after job completion

  • Delays caused by weather or unforeseen occurrences 

 

9. Warranties

We offer a workmanship guarantee of 6 months on completed work. This does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or neglect

  • Wear and tear

  • Work altered by others after completion

 

10. Disputes & Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith. If unresolved, the matter may be escalated through mediation or a small claims court, depending on the value of the dispute. In the event that legal action is required, the customer agrees to pay all costs and expense of collection including reasonable attorney fees. 

 

11. Acceptance of Terms

By agreeing to a quote, paying a deposit, or instructing us to begin work, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
